Assault on Jabba's Palace

Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the bounty hunter Beilert Valance undertook an assault on Jabba's Palace to trick the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure into unleashing his Megadroid, planning to destroy it in order for the Rebel Alliance to undertake their own rescue of the smuggler Han Solo, who Jabba had frozen in carbonite inside his palace. The mission was ultimately a success after Valance was knocked out by Boba Fett, who was secretly helping Valance in the name of protecting his reputation from the Megadroid. After defeating Valance, it was he who convinced Jabba to have Valance battle the droid. In an ensuing death match, Valance destroyed the Megadroid with the assistance of his crew led by the bounty hunter T'onga.
