During the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong's invasion of the galaxy between 25 and 29 ABY, the species attacked the Ord Janon system. Taking place at a point between 25 ABY and 26 ABY, the assault was preceded by the Battle of Birgis, in which the Yuuzhan Vong captured the planet Birgis from the New Republic with the aid of mercenary Mandalorian Protectors. After Birgis the Yuuzhan Vong split their forces to strike two targets, one of which traveled to the Ord Janon system.
