A battle occurred in the Pindra system between the forces of the New Republic's Admiral Willham Burke and the Galactic Empire's Admiral Ledre Okins. Burke tricked Okins into diverting key elements of his fleet to the Pindra system, where Burke destroyed them in a grav trap amid the star system's asteroids.
