A battle took place over the Expansion Region planet Tynna during the Yuuzhan Vong War in 25 ABY. Launching the offensive as part of a plot to sway the New Republic into believing that the Corellian system was their eventual target, the extragalactic Yuuzhan Vong defeated Tynna's limited orbital defenses and released a chemical into the planet's waters to prepare them for the eventual production of matériel.
