Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

Tynna was a planet located within the Tynnani system of the Expansion Region and the homeworld of the Tynnans, a species of aquatic mammals. A member world of the Republic, Tynna defected to the Confederacy of Independent Systems prior to the Clone Wars, and later repelled an invasion by the Galactic Empire. During its membership of the New Republic, Tynna was captured by the extragalactic Yuuzhan Vong and its environment modified to serve the invaders as a biological production center. Subsequently a part of the Galactic Alliance, Tynna later came under the sway of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.
