The Imperial Skirmishes was the last major campaign fought by the Imperial Remnant during the Galactic Civil War. Launched in 17 ABY against the New Republic, the joint campaign by the Remnant and the replacement warlords of the Deep Core was an unmitigated Imperial defeat, seeing a massive reduction in the size of Imperial Space and reducing the Remnant to a mere eight Outer Rim sectors. The Imperial Remnant would seek peace with the New Republic two years later.
