Mission to Varovia (Pathfinder)

A Pathfinder team went on a mission to the planet Varovia to search for clues about Jedi Master Barnabas Vim, decades after his disappearance. Upon arriving to Varovia, Jedi Master Atticus Cale and his team learned of the prolonged civil war among the Varovians over how to handle the Sacred Rod. Cale and his team decided to obtain the Sacred Rod from the locked Tolemite temple in which it was encased in order to remove it from Varovia.
Despite getting permission from both factions of the war, when Cale eventually opened the temple, finding the Sacred Rod encased in a crystal, troops from the Prophets faction ambushed the Pathfinders. Cale decided to trigger a boobytrap, causing the temple to collapse in on itself, destroying it and, presumably, the Sacred Rod.
