Canon Legends version → Linked from 5 articles
The Time of Suffering was a long period of brutal infighting among the large city-states of humans that inhabited the planet Naboo. Eventually, a general named Jafan managed to end the war, uniting the opposing factions through both force of arms and force of will. He became King Jafan, ruler of all the Naboo, and ushered in the Great Time of Peace.
