Anadeen was located in the Inner Rim Territories's Anadeen system at the coordinates O-9 on the Standard Galactic Grid in the Slice. It was the site of a shipyard that was controlled by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War against the New Republic. The New Republic fought to gain control of the shipyard in 5 ABY, which Fleet Admiral Gallius Rax noted when he spoke of contested Imperial locations like Anadeen in a meeting with his new Imperial Shadow Council that year. In 9 ABY, Anadeen lay in the New Republic's territory.
