The Anx Minor system was situated in the Raioballo sector, a part of the New Territories portion of the Outer Rim Territories. The star system lay on the Veragi Trade Route hyperlane, which linked it to the Sinsang system and the Relgim sector's Ord Trasi system. Anx Minor was also connected via another hyperspace route to the planet Gravlex Med, which was home to the Anx species that had at one point settled adjacent systems in the region known as Anx Space. The Anx Minor system contained an astronomical object of the same name.
Between 4 ABY and 12 ABY, the Anx Minor system fell within the borders of the Pentastar Alignment. That faction was then absorbed by the Imperial Remnant, which controlled the territory surrounding Anx Minor until 17 ABY. That year, New Republic forces commanded by Admiral Gial Ackbar engaged and defeated at Anx Minor an Imperial Remnant force led by Admiral Gilad Pellaeon.
