Banas system
Canon Linked from 4 articles
The Banas system was located in the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy. The star system was home to the planet Banas and its species, although most of the population lived on other planets in the system. During the Galactic Civil War, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa traveled to Banas to determine if the planet was suitable for a base for the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During the mission, the Imperial presence on Banas convinced Organa the system was to be avoided by the Rebellion.
