The Kaldar Trinary system was situated in the galaxy. It contained the planet Skara Nal where an ancient walker was buried and also contained at least one moon. The trinary star system's coordinates were engraved on a compass which led its owners to the ancient war machine. By 18 BBY, no star map featured the location of the system. Between 19 BBY and 18 BBY, Phee Genoa, members of Clone Force 99 and power droid MEL-221 traveled to the system in search for "treasure" after finding the system coordinates in a compass found at an unidentified junkyard on the planet Ord Mantell.
