The Novor system was a star system located within the Periphery subsector of the Tharin sector in the Outer Rim and the Slice. It was situated in grid square S-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid and was linked to the Boonta and Junkfort Station systems by a hyperspace route.
The terrestrial astronomical object Novor, which housed a children's medcenter run by the Sisters of the Ninth Plane during the High Republic Era, was located within the Novor system. By 231 BBY, the Hutt Clan sent the Ottegan enforcer Ola Hest to collect protection money from the medcenter, but she was refused. In response, Hest destroyed the medcenter with her frigate and killed all inside before departing. Eventually, the Ottegan was captured on the Hutt Space planet Nal Hutta.
