An enforcer was an individual who worked as soldier for a criminal organization, such as the Hutt Clan, Ashiga Clan, Crimson Dawn and Pyke Syndicate, or corporate organization, such as the InterGalactic Banking Clan. The human Qi'ra was an enforcer for Crimson Dawn, with her fighting abilities making her a valuable resource for the syndicate. A specific type of Dawn enforcer were the Hylobon Enforcers.
After the Republic and the Jedi intervened in the fight between his people, the Kaleesh, and the Yam'rii, Grievous held an intense grudge toward them and allied with the InterGalactic Banking Clan and became its enforcer.
