The Sarkhai system was a star system located in the M'shinni sector of the Mid Rim Territories and situated in grid square M-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It contained the world Sarkhai, which was the homeworld of the sentient Sarkhai species. Sometime between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs navigated through the Sarkhai system to reach the Sarkhai on his culinary tour of the galaxy.
