The Typhonic Nebula was a nebula in the Mid Rim Territories that was said to be the birthplace of Hylemane Lightbringer, a regent of the Galactic Republic who claimed that by being born from the nebula's dust, he could not be killed by mortal weapons. The Arakurth species lived within the nebula. In 35 ABY, Poe Dameron briefly skipped the Millennium Falcon into the nebula's Megafauna Chasm while evading First Order TIE/wi Interceptors.
