The Udine system was an uninhabited star system located in the vicinity of Keller's Void, within the Inner Rim. This system had a high concentration of asteroids, which formed the Udine asteroid field.
Pirates were known to occasionally transport these asteroids to Keller's Void in order to drag ships from hyperspace, utilizing their mass shadows.
