Canon Legends version → Linked from 8 articles
The Varl system was a star system that contained the planet Varl, original homeworld of the Hutt species, and its three moons. The Hutts eventually abandoned the system due to the presence of Kayfoundo Kapa. A splinter faction of the Pyke Syndicate led by Baron Grott eventually set up the Varl Circuit across Varl's three moons for the Varl Tournament, but also had to abandon it due to the Kayfoundo Kapa in 29 BBY. The entire system was abandoned and quarantined by the galaxy at large due to the Kayfoundo Kapa.
