Verinti system

The Verinti system was a star system in the Vorzyd sector of the Outer Rim Territories that fell within grid square R-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It contained the terrestrial astronomical object Verinti, which was the location of the homestead where the citizen Mav Gatta lived. While thirteen years old in 3 ABY, Gatta used survival techniques she had seen on the holodrama Troops to save the homestead from raiders and was granted a full scholarship to an Imperial Academy by the Galactic Empire as a reward.
