The Xandros system was a star system located in the Expansion Region's Locris sector. It was situated in grid square Q-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid and contained the astronomical object Xandros.
By 4 ABY, the human Han Solo and the Wookiee Chewbacca came to know of a scrap merchant who worked on Xandros. That year, as Chewbacca was about to pilot the YT-1300 light freighter Millennium Falcon from the Outer Rim moon Endor to the Core Worlds planet Chandrila in order for Solo and Princess Leia Organa to have their honeymoon, the vessel broke down. Solo then suggested visiting Xandros to get a catalyzer from the scrap merchant as the celestial body was on their way to Chandrila. After departing Endor, they arrived on Chandrila the following day.
