Xandros

Xandros was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Xandros system within the Locris sector of the Expansion Region. It was situated in grid square O-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid. A scrap merchant known to the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca worked on Xandros.

In 4 ABY, the Millennium Falcon, a YT-1300 light freighter owned by Solo and Chewbacca, broke down as Chewbacca was about to pilot Solo and Princess Leia Organa from the Outer Rim moon Endor to the Core Worlds planet Chandrila so the couple could have their honeymoon aboard the Star Cruiser Halcyon. In response, Solo suggested to the Wookiee that they head to Xandros to acquire a catalyzer from the scrap merchant, as it was on the way to Chandrila. Following this, they departed the moon and arrived at Chandrila the next day.
