Canon Legends version → Linked from 18 articles
Emir was a title of rulership or authority over others. Early in the Clone Wars, Wat Tambor—who served as the Foreman of the Techno Union, a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems's Executive Separatist Council, and a general of the Confederacy military—acted as an emir during his occupation of the Nexus trading outpost. Later, he was appointed Emir of Ryloth during the occupation of that planet.
