Ghorman twill was a type of fabric produced from the silk weaved by Ghorlectipods, a type of spider unique to the planet Ghorman. Much of the planet's economy was based around the production of the fabric. Galactic Republic senator Bal-Cobor Sampurn of the Sern sector was known to wear hoods and robes made of Ghorman twill woven on an antique Beldoni loom, believed to be fifteen thousand years old. Galactic Emperor Palpatine wore a tunic of Ghorman twill, along with his zeyd-cloth robes.
