Orga

The orga was a plant found on the lowest levels of the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. They could react violently to anyone who sought to harm them, using their sharp vines, acid-filled pods, or strong tentacles. When treated with respect, however, they allowed their roots to be foraged. In the days before the Life Day celebration, the bravest Wookiee hunters went searching for orgas, which they held to be sacred and consumed during the festival.
