Thurian tree

Thurian trees were a type of tall tree featuring green leaves that could be found on the Outer Rim planet Chandar's Folly. While on Chandar's Folly in 14 BBY, Governor Wilhuff Tarkin led a group to hunt the Sith Lord Darth Vader, and several of the trees were near their camp. On the second day of their pursuit, the group tracked Vader to a copse of thurian trees. They surrounded him with flamethrowers and engulfed the Sith Lord in flames, though Vader ultimately escaped the area.
