Unidentified maneuver (elliptical orbit)

A starship maneuver was used for stealth in the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. In the maneuver, a starship would disable its engines and communications systems and drift undetected toward its destination in a long, elliptical orbit. The maneuver could be used for sneak attacks or to stealthily maroon people and vessels which had been hijacked so they could be rescued without dying.
The Grysk Hegemony used the maneuver to destroy Nikardun Destiny military bases with hidden asteroid missile platforms.
