Yanyan tree

Yanyan trees were a type of tree found on the planet Siline. The tree was considered dangerous, but alluring. Its weeping branches swayed somewhat independently of the wind, and it emitted a sweet aroma. The branches were adorned with tiny fluffs of leaves and flowers.

Yanyan trees were encountered during the survival level of the Crowning Convocation held on Siline in 134 BBY by the party of Jedi Padawans Jecki Lon and Yord Fandar. The Silinese Rhos Arthyst indicated to Jecki and Yord that one would be used as a rendezvous point, but warned them to not go underneath the branches. A yanyan tree was subsequently used as cover as the team surveilled a rival team atop of a basalt pillar.
