Star Wars: Star Pilot holds the distinction of being the first Star Wars Legends source to explicitly provide a length of 19,000 meters for the Super Star Destroyer Executor.
The book was reissued under the Disney brand in 2015 with new cover art and expanded content as part of the new Star Wars canon. The book's original Legends version was also reissued with new cover art as part of the Learn to Read with Star Wars: Darth Vader Level 3 box set on December 12, 2017.
