The Separatist holdout was located on the planet Desix led by Governor Tawni Ames, with the second in command being a T-series tactical droid. The Separatist holdout was formed after the formation of the Galactic Empire. Between 19 BBY and 18 BBY, the Empire appointed Governor Grotton as the new governor of Desix. With the Empire still not recognizing their independence, the newly appointed governor and his TK trooper squad were taken hostage by the holdout. This led to the mission to Desix and the dissolution of the holdout.
