Juggernaut Pilot

Juggernaut Pilots, also known as tank troopers, Transport Troopers, or as Imperial Juggernaut Drivers, were a class of Imperial combat driver officers of the Galactic Empire that operated various Imperial ground assault vehicles like troop transports to HCVw A9.2 juggernaut transport. Juggernaut Pilots later served within an Imperial remnant on Morak, hauling rhydonium across country in HCVw A9.2s.

They wore light-weight grey-green armor reminiscent of Imperial swamp troopers, with a helmet similar to those worn by Imperial combat assault tank pilots that included a telemetric link to their vehicle computers. Some pilots had red markings on their left upper arm to indicate rank, reminiscent of coastal defender stormtroopers and wore utility belts with compact repair and diagnostic kits. Juggernaut Pilots relied on their heavily armored vehicles for protection and usually worked in pairs. They were also armed with SE-14r light repeating blasters.

Sometime after the battle of Tython in 9 ABY, two Juggernaut Pilots had their armor stolen by Din Djarin and Migs Mayfeld, who commandeered Juggernaut Five for their infiltration of the rhydonium refinery facility.
