A kleptocracy was a method of rule which followed the practice of might-makes-right, favoring strength. The Outer Rim planet of Sanyassa IV was run by such a government during the time of the Old Republic, the Rebellion, and the New Republic. The history of the native Sanyassans indicated that, in the preceding period, the society of their homeworld was more advanced.
