Obsidian Squadron

Obsidian Squadron was an elite starfighter squadron within the Imperial Starfighter Corps of the Galactic Empire. During the Galactic Civil War, the squadron was deployed aboard the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Avenger before being reassigned to Cloud City during the Empire’s occupation of Bespin.
The squadron was led by Civé Rashon, who operated under the callsign "Howlrunner" as Obsidian Leader. At various points during the Imperial Era, one pilot flew through asteroids, while another, Obsidian Two Dodson Makraven, flew near Cloud City.
When the squadron was stationed aboard the Terminator, some of its members contributed to the satirical news outlet The Terminator Times.
