Scout guards were militia soldiers marshalled by Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth as the majority of her gathered forces. Upon the discovery of Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn" in the far galaxy, scout guards were reorganized to fall under the command of Thrawn's Imperial remnant. The scout guards spoke both Galactic Basic Standard and an alien language.
