The Supreme Court was the highest court of law in the Judicial Department of the Galactic Republic. The Supreme Court tried Nute Gunray, the Viceroy of the Trade Federation, on four separate occasions for his actions in launching the Invasion of Naboo, but Gunray avoided imprisonment and remained Viceroy of the Trade Federation.
