Valo militia

The Valo militia was a militia based on the Outer Rim planet Valo during the High Republic Era. It was formed after the end of Valo's occupation by the Nihil marauder organization in 229 BBY, following the Nihil's defeat during a raid of the research vessel Innovator. While most of the occupying force from Lonisa City had been killed during the raid, all of the marauders that were left were rounded up and imprisoned by the militia. A few days later, as the Jedi younglings Kildo and Gavi Takitaken stood on the shore of Lake Lonisa, Takitaken mentally recalled the militia's formation and that it had taken the remaining Nihil into custody, noting the militia's members had been "furious."
