The Xi Char were a religious cult that believed in bespoke manufacturing. They founded the Haor Chall Engineering manufacturing company and controlled the Xi Char Cathedral factories, in which the Confederacy of Independent Systems's Vulture droids were constructed by the Xi Charrian species. Precision manufacturing was considered an act of religious worship within the factories.
