The Carbon-Ice Drive, also referred to as the comet computer was an advanced starship technology developed by the Adarians. It was used in a starship's computer systems, and it was made from supercooled, carbon-laced ice taken from comets. The units could be up to 200 meters in size which was counter to the trend of miniaturization with starship systems. However, the system was extremely powerful and capable of housing artificial intelligences.
