Class Three infraction

Class Three infractions were one of the five categories of crime outlined in the Imperial Penal Code during the Imperial Era alongside Class Five, Class Four, Class Two and Class One infractions. Crimes in this category included, but were not limited to: Attempted bribery of an Imperial officer Transportation of high-technology without an Imperial permit or license Transportation of restriced items without an Imperial permit or license

Standard Imperial punishment for this type of violation was the immediate arrest of the offender, whom was then brought to the sector capital for trial. Without a good lawyer the defendant could have faced further punishment such as a prison sentence or a fine. In case a starship crew was found guilty of a Class Three infraction, their vessel and their vessel's captain could have also had their operating permits revoked.
