Jesa Corporation

The Jesa Corporation, or Jesa Corp was a company interested in mining operations and scientific research which was established by a woman of extremely rigid moral principles and unusual religious beliefs that some considered "strange"; she initially hired only like-minded individuals, so many higher-ups in Jesa Corp shared the mindset of its founder. The Corporation established a colony on the lush planet Pergitor and helped turn it into a lucrative and popular world, though despite their good intentions, Jesa's continued bore mining eventually led to an increase in volcanic activity, causing the world to become uninhabitable around 105 BBY. Jesa Corporation went bankrupt not long after the accident.
