A karfler was a creature. In 22 ABY, on a planet in the Unknown Regions' the Redoubt starcluster, a group of Vagaari Empire operatives infiltrated the wreckage of the colonization vessel Outbound Flight and released several furry predators known as wolvkils, one of which shook itself like a wet karfler.
