Medibeds were a type of bed used to treat injured patients in Medical bays. The medcenter onboard the space station Starlight Beacon was equipped with medibeds. In 231 BBY, Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee was injured in a fight against Muglan Tarantyne aboard the Republic correctional vessel Restitution. Dee was treated in a medibed and overseen by Councilor Jon Wittick.
