New Republic provisional-era crest

The New Republic provisional-era crest was a symbol used by the government of the New Republic alongside the later used sigil of the New Republic. Like the New Republic's other insignia, the crest was was also based on the Rebel Alliance starbird, set within a circle of fifteen stars that represented unity. It was found among security forces. In 9 ABY, a yellow version of the crest notably appeared on distinct types of security droids, as well as in the uniforms of New Republic soldiers and officers.
