R1 security droid

The R1 security droid, also known as R1-NRCC, was a model of security droid that was utilized by the New Republic Correctional Corps. The sentry droid was repurposed R1-series droid, albeit outfitted with a air-cooled heavy blaster cannon to better suit its role. Just like standard R1 units, R1-NRCCs had the Mark II reactor drone shell that serves as security armor. At least two units of this droid were deployed to a New Republic Correctional Transport, the Bothan-5, where they were used to patrol the vessel, until they were encountered by a crew of mercenaries attempting to rescue a Twi'lek prisoner named Qin. One of the mercenaries, a Devaronian named Burg, attacked the droids severely damaging one before throwing it into the other, causing an explosion which destroyed both units.
