Protocol rule 12B6

Protocol rule 12B6 was a rule stating that when entering the sovereign orbital space of a c-class planet, any government hails received must be answered. The rule existed during the war between the First Order and the Resistance, and was known to the protocol droid C-3PO. When the Millennium Falcon, carrying Resistance personnel, arrived above Ryloth and was contacted by government Can-Cell class fighters, C-3PO insisted that they reply to avoid breaking protocol rule 12B6.
