Shadow web

Shadow web was the name given to nerves laced with meltmassif by Lord Shadowspawn. Shadowspawn, in actuality Cronal, used these nerves laced with meltmassif to control people through the Sunset Crown, and could even permanently place his consciousness into a shadow web if given enough time. Though he never successfully transferred his consciousness, he got close to doing so with both Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa.

A similar technique was used by the Sorcerers of Rhand, of which Cronal used to be one. where they'd use Nihil smokestone, a native material to the Nihil Retreat that could act as a mental transmitter and reciever, and imprint slaves with the smokestone, such as skull implants or removable cranial harnesses, and control them through a Shadow Crown also made of Nihil smokestone.
