Surik was an entity referred to in the exclamation "Surik's Blade!" During the High Republic Era, the Trandoshan Jedi Master Sskeer used the exclamation when he and fellow Jedi Terec fell under attack from a Nihil marauder while exploring the wreckage of a Hutt starship. Jedi archivist OrbaLin thought of the phrase when he fought the Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee during a pirate attack on Valo.
