Tranquilizer dart

A tranquilizer dart was a small non-lethal projectile designed to be launched from a wrist-mounted personal weapon system. This dart caused unconsciousness in a matter of seconds and was good for tagging Bantha for research purposes, or stopping a fleeing bounty mark in their tracks. The bounty hunter Mira was known to use this type of weapon towards the end of the Dark Wars.

Tranquilizer darts were still used thousands of years later, in 43 ABY, by the Jedi Order to subdue members of their Order who had come down with an engimatic madness which caused them to believe that everyone they knew had been replaced with impostors.
