Vibro-weapon

A vibro-weapon was any bladed weapon whose blade was made more dangerous by the power of a rapid augmented vibro-motor, which turned the wielder's slightest motion into a powerful and potentially lethal stroke. With those high-frequency vibrations, a blade had greater ability to sever and slash.

Types of vibro weapons included vibro-arbir blades, vibro-axes, vibrobayonets, vibroblades, vibrodaggers, vibro-knives, vibro-lances, vibroswords, vibro-voulges, vibrocleavers, and vibro-machetes.

An SP-B50 blaster rifle was a mixture of a blaster and a vibro-active force blade.
