Vibroknife

A vibroknife, also styled as vibro-knife, was a type of knife featuring a small, vibrating blade that hummed when activated. Those vibrations occurred at a high-frequency and greatly improved on the blade's ability to slash at enemies or sever things. It was capable of cutting through metal materials, including droids and stuncuffs.

After the Galactic Civil War, the bounty hunter Mandalorian Din Djarin wielded a vibro-knife as a close range weapon on multiple occasions. Lieutenant Weel of the First Order Security Bureau used a vibro-knife to interrogate Suralinda Javos, though she bested him and used the knife first to escape her bonds then rescue Poe Dameron from a squad of stormtroopers. Devi carried a vibro-knife while scavenging on Jakku.
