Webberie

Webberies were a type of farm used on the planet Ghorman to harvest Ghorman silk from the Ghorlectipods housed within. At one point forty billion Ghorlectipods were housed in webberies across the planet.

In 4 BBY, a video featuring a webberie that explained the Ghorman economy was shown at a secret Imperial meeting of Imperial officers at the Maltheen Divide.

In 3 BBY, there was a co-op of nine webberies located in the Beldoni Valley on Ghorman, some of which had operated for almost a millennium. Sunif Brecanti, the broker for the co-op, traveled to the capital city Palmo to address Ghorman electors at a town hall. In the address they stated that all of their clients were considering not opening their hives the following spring due to Galactic Empire's oppressive regulations. During the same year, the webberie estates that supplied the House of Rylanz twillery were quite far away from the capital.
